INGREDIENTS
1.5 pounds 93% ground turkey
2 egg whites or 6 tablespoons liquid egg white substitute
0.5 cup toasted wheat germ
1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1 tablespoon whole flaxseed
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
0.5 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Coat a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
STEP 2
In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and gently mix together to combine.
STEP 3
Form mixture into 16 meatballs and place them into the baking dish.
STEP 4
Bake for 7 minutes and use a spatula to flip each meatball. Return to oven and cook until meatballs are no longer pink in the centre, about 8 to 13 minutes. Serve.
