INGREDIENTS
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup brown rice cereal
1 cup hemp protein powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown rice syrup
1/2 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the oats, cereal, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until well combined.
STEP 2
In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, add the brown rice syrup and almond butter. Microwave for 45 seconds to soften, then stir in the vanilla extract.
STEP 3
Pour the wet mixture over the dry and mix until well combined. I recommend using your (slightly wet) hands for this.
STEP 4
Lightly coat a baking dish in cooking spray, pour the batter into the pan. Again, I recommend using slightly wet fingers to evenly spread the batter out over the dish.
STEP 5
Place in the freezer for 10 minutes, or until set. Remove and cut into 10 bars. Keep covered and store in fridge or freezer.
